Magazine: Vogue UK
Editorial: Black & White
Photographer: Nick Knight
Fashion Editor: Charlotte Stockdale
Model: Anja Rubik
Black & White - two oppositions, two antitheses, two contrasting colors ... but when it comes to fashion they can give a vibrant and extravagant performance serving the most exclusive designers ranging from Dries Van Noten, Dior, Gareth Pugh, Vivienne Westwood to Viktor & Rolf and many more.
The video & editorial are so powerful that you nearly feel the boost of black & white inspirations serving us the crème de la crème of high fashion styles. And that punk-ish, rebel lady taking outrageous poses to the Dust21 music, couldn't be anyone else but the top model Anja Rubik.
She jumps, dances, kicks - plays with monochromatic fashion of constructions, stripes and robs and we have to admit it, she makes it in a very glamorous and edgy way.
Such a project reveals something more - the artistry of fashion designers. Having such a simple and minimal idea consisting these two opposite colors, the result is beyond our imagination. The mixture of styles, variety of designs and creativity, show that there is a blurry line between fashion and art. The line that designers are balancing with skill and grace.

Model: Liya Kebede
Take a look at this editorial... Don't you have an impression that Liya - the model - is like a flower in the middle of an uninhabited desert on the other end of the world? Dark outfits contrasts with the background of a sunny harsh landscape while wind blowing on the delicate fabrics makes the model even more delicate and insecure.
